Austin, Texas, January 9, 2023 – The 2023 TCCE Board of Directors meet for their first board meeting and to discuss and plan for the 2023 year.
Newly elected TCCE Chairman of the Board and Pearland Chamber CEO Jim Johnson successfully led the 2023 Board Orientation. Discussions focused on:
Programming: CCCE, Chamber Basics, Annual Conference and Chair’s Conference;
Member Engagement in TCCE Committees;
Mechanisms for supporting Chamber training in government affairs;
Expanding TCCE membership on key aspects related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Improving TCCE’s communications, network and research tools (i.e., database, website, comp & benefits, tenure awards, job bank) and social media outlets
Overall, the Board Retreat was a success. However, the TCCE does need your help to execute our mission in 2023. More to follow.
