CINDY DEWEASE, IOM

Past Chair

Cindy DeWease joined the staff of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in 1983.  Through the years she held several positions including bookkeeper, coordinator to the Board and Committees and development and production of special events. Since 2008 Cindy has served as the President & CEO.

Cindy’s commitment to the Chamber industry reaches beyond the Clear Lake Area serving as the President of the Gulf Coast Chamber Executives in 2013 and on the Board of Directors of Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives since 2011. Currently Cindy served as the 2020 Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Chairman of the Board. In 2018 Cindy was awarded the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Arthur A. Roberts Award for Distinguished Service.

Cindy also serves on the Board of the City of Nassau Bay Economic Development Corporation and is an Ex-Officio Director of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, the Bay Area Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and an Advisory Board member of the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre.

Cindy is a member of: The U. S. Chamber of Commerce, The American Chamber of Commerce Executives, The Rotary Club of Space Center, Nassau Bay Baptist Church, Association of Business and Professional Women.

Cindy is married to Jeff DeWease, sales manager for Faust Distributing and they reside in Nassau Bay, Texas with their 2 fur children Copper and Penny.
