MARY MARTIN FRAZIOR, IOM, CCE
Mary Frazior is the President & CEO of the Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Chamber of Commerce, a position she has held for more than 23 years. As president of the Chamber, she is also the managing director of the HEB Economic Development Foundation. The three cities of HEB are located by DFW International Airport, right in the middle of Fort Worth and Dallas.
She began her career in chamber work at the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, starting as a staff manager for Education, Leadership CC and economic research. After earning the position of vice president, Mary relocated to the DFW area and joined the North Dallas Chamber where she became the vice president of development and finance.
A graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of Organizational Management program, she earned the Certified Chamber Executive distinction from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2014.
Mary was a founding board member of the North Texas Chamber Executives and served as the Chairman of the organization. She is a long-time (40 + years) of the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives and is also a member of ACCE.
Through the years of serving the HEB community, she has been chairman of the HEB Education Foundation, the Mid-Cities Pacesetters Rotary Club, the Airport Area YMCA and the Northeast Leadership Forum Chamber’s Roundtable. She has been honored twice by the Fort Worth Business Press, being named one of the Great Women in Texas in 2014 and receiving their Top Business Organization CEO Award in 2019.
She graduated summa cum laude from Corpus Christi State University (now Texas A & M CC) with a BBA in marketing and finance.
One of her favorite sayings is on a plaque one of HEB Chamber’s past chairmen gave her: “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass . . .It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
Mary is the proud mother of two grown children and delighted “Mimi” of two grandsons.
